Need tutoring? Our CSS (CMC) after school tutoring program has a different structure this year. If you need TUTORING, go to room D 25 7th period or after school. If you need a quiet place to study, go to our school library.
Having trouble in math? If so, there is a new math tutoring program available after school called Peer2Peer! Peer2Peer can help any student, whether you are struggling in your current math class, need help with math homework or just need help to study. This free program is from 2:30 to 4:00, Monday -Thursday after school in room E-11. The Carlmont Motivational Center is an after school study and tutoring program. Students report to the library (currently a classroom until the library re-opens) from 2:30 to 4:00p.m. Attendance is taken and we seek advanced students and teachers to work as tutors. At 4:00p.m., students are offered pizza and soda prior to going home. Our Scholar School program is a credit retrieval program. Students complete an application with their guidance advisors and then report to a classroom after school ( after 6th period at 2:30). Students work independently on packets to complete credits toward graduation that they have failed . Students must also complete 40 hours of seat time for each 5 units of credit. Hours for scholar school will be from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m.. Attendance is taken. Our coordinator for both programs is Dee Cereghino.
