CLUBS AND PROGRAMS

There is a mandatory Polynesian meeting at lunch on Thursday.

Are you interested in the criminal justice system? If so, come to the first meeting of the Carlmont MOCK TRIAL Team on WED. Sept. 16 during lunch in room E-2.  MOCK TRIAL is a student club in which members compete against other schools in San Mateo County. We prepare a criminal case and then compete in real courtrooms at the Hall of Justice in Redwood City. See Mr. Gomez in room E-2 if you have any questions about Mock Trial! - Gomez

Seniors: Reminder that UC Berkeley will be in the College Center today (Tuesday) at lunch to share information with you about Cal and to inform you of a four-year scholarship they offer to a Carlmont student. For details come to the meeting. - Dominguez

Seniors: Sept 23rd is the last day to register online for the Oct 10th SAT or Subject Test (a late fee will apply). If you need help, visit the College Center during lunch or 7th period. - Dominguez

Juniors: Mrs. Dominguez, from the College Center, will be speaking to parents of the junior class at the PSG meeting tonight (Tuesday) in the Student Union at 6:30pm. She will go over any questions junior parents might have about helping you get ready for college. Encourage your parents to attend this meeting. - Dominguez

All Frosh-Soph Baseball players that signed up for fall ball, there is a mandatory meeting Tuesday at the beginning of lunch in the boys locker room. We will distribute the fall ball schedules to all the players that are signed up to play in the Goetz Bros. Fall baseball league! - Vallero

Peer2Peer can help any student, whether you are struggling in your current math class, need help with math homework or just need help to study. IMPORTANT INFO

Plan ahead - Thursday, September 10th, will be a minimum day. Please be sure to invite your parents to Back to School Night on Thursday evening. - Bailey

The Food Service Department is processing free and reduced applications daily. New applications should be filled out every school year, unless we have personally told you that you are directly certified. Please turn in applications to the kitchen. When applications are processed, confirmation letters are sent home. If you haven't received you letter or have any questions about the process please call Tracy McGuinness at 650-595-0210 Ext. 3322. - McGuinness

TODAY IS PICTURE MAKE - UP DAY!

For students that did NOT get their school picture/ID photo taken at Arena Check-in, you will be able to do so TODAY. ALL STUDENTS who have not taken a school picture, even if you do not intend to order school pictures, NEED TO HAVE THEIR PHOTO TAKEN TODAY.

ID's:

If you DO NOT have a school ID yet, you need a Temporary ID. Come to the Administration office, BEFORE school and receive a temporary ID from Ms. Eggli. School ID's are mandatory and need to be visible at all times.
